About Your Visit
For most homes, the site survey typically lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. This could go a little longer if there are some unique aspects of your property or project.
What The Surveyor Will Do
Your site surveyor will capture photos and information and depending on your home may do any of the following:
- Measure and assess your roof
- Calculate the slope of your roof
-
Take pictures in your attic underneath the install location
- Take photos of nearby trees
- Check your main service panel
- Check the area where you plan to install a ground mount if your system is not roof-mounted
Get Prepared
We recommend you or someone you trust is available at your property during the survey. There are also a few things you can do to prepare for a successful site survey. Please make sure your surveyor will have access to the areas they’ll need to capture - specifically your main service panel, the area where your inverter and/or battery will go, and for some homes access to your attic or the area directly below where the panels would be installed.
That’s it for now!
You’ll hear from us soon regarding your next step. Congratulations again!
